M83 - Reunion (Mylo Remix)

Replacing the glitzy shimmering guitars of M83 impresario Anthony Gonzalez's best U2/Police imitation with synths that replicate a similar urgency of sound assures nothing is lost in translation in this housed up rendition of standout track "Reunion" by Mylo.  What it loses in stadium-ready anthemic sheen it makes up for in eminent danceability.

Lovelock - Maybe Tonight (Morgan Geist Vocal Edit)

Not to be confused with the victim of Todd Bertuzzi's infamous back-breaking escapade, Pittsburgh's Steve Moore, synth + bass extraordinaire of the John Carpenter-esque Zombi and NYC prog rock outfit Titan, has stepped out on his own as a future dance juggernaut, moonlighting under the pseudonym Lovelock.

After a string of excellent singles and remixes (including last year's gem of a remix of Eyes Be Closed by Washed Out), Lovelock has a new album, Burning Feeling, out now via Internasjonal.  Here is Morgan Geist's vocal edit of the track Maybe Tonight.
